Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to mark the centennial of the company. It is constructed of Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a fluttering "B" paperweight, keys, and an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics
As a design-oriented company Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. Design

This amazing power is coupled with a new suspension system that provides Bentley's trademark smooth ride.
In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a custom-designed specification called the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. The cabin has cross-stitching, and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. A custom Bentley key case is included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.
Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key comes with two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and the other that is used to start the vehicle. The key also has a button to turn on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parking in a tight spot. This feature can aid you in getting in and out of the car more quickly.
Each key takes about two days to make. The key is cut by hand, shaped by hand, stitched to seal, and polished to create a high-end result. It is sturdy, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however it feels heavier and has a more luxurious feel.
Secure-A-Key is also included to protect against keyless entry theft. The device is inserted into the remote control fob and it shuts it down when the key has not been used for a few minutes. It blocks thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can be used to open and start the vehicle.

Personalisation
Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers design their own vehicle. Guests sit at a series of images referred to as "mood stations" and pick a collection of photos ranging from picturesque landscapes to sporting events that are inspiring to them. Each time a selection is made the pattern that emerges is the model preference for color, style and design for the personalized Bentley.
The guests receive the keys in a case designed by hand that houses the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys are also equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that light up the door's opening path with the owner's name and/or emblem when they make their way towards the vehicle.
Bentley estimates that it takes about 500 man-hours to construct and construct a Mulsanne. The reluctance to embrace modern technology is the main factor to this lengthy and laborious process. The Crewe factory workers don't use a machine to space perfectly matched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers are required to park their vehicles manually, rather than using the built-in sensors to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spaces.
